BESPOKE LED LIGHTING FOR CURRYS PC WORLD
In 2013 Addlux won a contract to supply Currys PC World with 7,000 bespoke lighting kits for totems to promote a range of new laptops in their stores nationwide.
The lighting kits comprised LED light sheet panels and LED strip lighting with complete plug & play capability and an instruction manual, such that the in-store staff could assemble the totems without the need for an electrician or any prior training. We manufactured and supplied all 7,000 kits in 4 weeks.
The LED light sheet panels were installed upright on the counter and gave an evenly lit backdrop for each laptop, at the same time illuminating a graphic promoting its benefits. The LED strip lights were attached to the underside of the counter to give a subtle ‘halo’ at the base of the totem. The entire set-up presented an appealing and modern ambience for presenting the laptops.
